It all started with the bangle: we were dissatisfied with the how the round bangle would hang on our wrist, so dangly, inelegant and uncomfortable. We created an oval shaped bracelet/bangle consisting of 2 pieces of round wire, ends forged to a taper then pierced with an awl. Assembled with a heavy jumpring on each side this piece was permanently attached to a person with needlenose pliers. Our intention is that you wear several of these together like bangles. It has become a long time favorite of men, women and children.

We consider all of the jewelry we make to be permanent. Our jewelry with clasp closures, are not quite permanent; however we encourage all prospective buyers to wear these pieces as if they didn’t have clasp. Our intention is that you live in these bracelets and chokers. You will find them weighty yet comfortable. We trust you will discover that you’ll never want to take them off!

Over the years we have designed many pieces to cater to peoples need to wear their jewelry permanently. Jewelry is pinched, riveted or screwed into place for a permanent commitment to the piece. Sometimes a couple will commission a piece to symbolize their permanent commitment to each other.  However we are partial to the idea of someone forming their own personal connection to the piece. We like it best when someone wears a bracelet until the metal has worn thin, like a favorite pair of sneakers that is worn until there are holes in the soles. Frequently people send back their bracelets after years of wear asking to repair the thin spots. We love to hear about the life and times of our jewelry. We like knowing that each piece becomes a part of our customer’s lives

All of our styles are available as permanent pieces. Just indicate that you want the piece to be permanent when ordering. We will omit the clasp and resize accordingly.
